Hello to all old & new members,
As a society, we are 100% behind the boycott of nightclubs taking place in Lincoln on the 27th October, so we are sorry to announce that our social planned for this date will not be taking place. We will work to try and plan another social, however making sure our members feel, and are safe, is our biggest concern.
The accounts of spiking recently seem to have increased, and in some cases, have gotten even worse, even to the extreme of now injecting people.
As a society who’s socials usually tend to involving clubbing, it is a big concern of ours that our members and committee are safe going on nights out & believe that a change needs to be made, and pretty soon! We want to be able to go out and have fun, without worrying of the events that may occur, not only for our female members, but for everyone who attends our socials!
If you ever feel unsafe on a night out, or suddenly feel like something is wrong and your drink may have been spiked, then please contact a committee member or a member of staff, we are here to help!!
