🏆Jordan was asked to perform his ballet in the bursary and he was also awarded the Scott trophy for the highest mark tap solo!

✨We have finished the summer term with brilliant ballet exam results, with 3 students getting marks in the 90s! ✨

✨More exciting news!! In September our dance family will be growing as the Janet Ashton School of Dance will be amalgamating with the JHSD school. Between the two dance schools, we have had nearly 100 years of teaching children to dance in Lincoln and we cannot wait for what the future holds for the schools joining together, and are so excited to welcome new students and teachers✨

Wednesday evening I went to see LATAs performance of Phantom of the Opera. So fabulous to see these 4 JHSD students on the stage, all with leading roles too. Very impressed & very proud seeing you do your thing!! ✨⭐️

A lovely visit from past JHSD Pupil Matt Bates last week ✨Matt is home after finishing at Ballet Zurich and awaiting the start of his next exciting ballet adventure ✨

And the final exams of this academic year are done!! Darcie at the start of her dance journey with her first ever ballet exam and Georgina & Josie at the end of their time at the dance school taking their Intermediate Tap. Well done girls ✨

Vocational RAD exams at the brand new London HQ for these 3 hard working dancers yesterday ✨⭐️ they even managed to make it back for their ballet lessons at the studio in the evening! 😁

Day 2 & our Royal Academy of Dance ballet exam weekend is complete! Well done to all dancers. For some it was their first exam and others the first exam since the pandemic! You should all be so proud of yourselves ✨
