Our cheeky Toby’s Christmas dinner!

We’ve had a super busy term this year with training up our novice archers, attending our first competition for the season, and putting away some very messy new straw target. What a treat this banging dinner was!

We couldn’t be more proud of everyone’s progress so far and we hope everyone continues to improve going into next year. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

We are ECSTATIC to have finally received our new club development! We’ve got our long-coveted 4 full size bosses and tripod stands, as well as 30 new arrows for our members to use courtesy of

This now means that our short sessions can run more efficiently and members have more opportunities to go up and shoot due to extra arrows and increased space on the shooting line!

A super fab day at for our first leg of TOUCAN division 2. And what a fun day it was! We walked away with one GOLD MEDAL in the men’s compound category! WOOOOOO!!!

The day was super upbeat and the vibes were flowing and we stuffed ourselves full with a well deserved, celebratory pub meal afterwards! Our mascot Mr. Flaps was quite the socialite today and made new fluffy friends.

A massive well done to our second intake of novices for completing their beginners course! We’re super proud of everyone and very impressed with their quick progress 🏹

The beginners course cannot go ahead on the 12th. Please wait until the 19th. Regular training continues as normal

A big WELL DONE to our first round of beginners for completing their beginner’s course! Our novices can now confidently shoot independently and continue their archery journey!

Thank you to everyone who came to our taster sessions over the past few weeks! It has been amazing to see so many people interested in this sport!

Please make sure that if you attend next week’s session that you have bought a membership, and if necessary, a space on the beginners course. If you do complete the beginners course, please make sure you do not buy your memebership until after it has finished. All information regarding memberships are on the SU site for the society.

Also, going ahead there will be a £1.50 range fee per session, this is to go towards raising funds for the society.
