Petition: Lift the ban on .22 handguns.
I believe the original ban on handguns in the UK in the 1990s was undemocratic and disproportionate, then Tony Blair's government went further to ban .22 handguns for no good justifiable reason at all. I believe ownership of these fi****ms is not a concern for public safety, nor was it ever.

Some photos of a couple of gunsmithing sessions.
The first 2 photos are of an extended handstop made especially for a female member to be able to shoot an old BSA International.
The second 2 photos are of my own Walther KKM that was bought only to find the genuine, and unique, Walther parts are unavailable. It is now fitted with BSA handstop and sling swivel.

The Home Office have opened a public consultation into the fees charges to clubs for their Home Office Approval.
The current rate is £84 - it is proposed to increase this to £900.
For small clubs, like Rustons, this is not a cost that can be covered. If this increase is enforced it will see the closure of a great number of older, small, historic target rifle clubs like Rustons.
Anyone is able to make a comment and submit it to the Home Office -https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/583035/170110pn_Firearms_Fees_consultation_FINAL.pdf
