We’re taking the steel rims off (5/8” thick!) to put some new round ones on as they are not the best along with improved wheel bearings.

Lots of things on the go at the minute but here are some genuine Foster traction wagon wheels that still are as they left the factory. Seems the are postbox red and then a white line inside the front spokes and then black past that with the hubcaps.

Spokes look interesting but need to clean a few more to see how they look.

Little machining job this week. Some gas turbine rotor stands needed the top surface flat 😎

Workshop Wednesday nights means we work on our own stuff. Little front pin knocked up for the 6” Foden. Just a slot to mill for the front clip 😎

Bit of old and new technology. The latest Druck automatic pressure station checking the calibration of a pressure gauge. This gauge is 10psi out throughout the range so needs a need alignment.

The Druck is part of European Power Systems range of gas turbine calibration equipment.
