U16 ROUND 1 CUP WIN

A big win in the first round of the Cup as Linlithgow U16 come away with a 50–12 victory over Lenzie.

Wet conditions made it a tough afternoon, but a huge shift from all the boys. After a disappointing weekend, the response was exactly what we wanted to see. The pack fronted up, the intensity was there and we played some really good rugby, moving the ball through the hands and scoring some excellent tries.

Plenty still to work on and build from, but great to get our first Cup win on the board as we roll into the rest of the season.

U16 CUP RUGBY

Our first Cup game of the season and always a big occasion for the boys as we welcome Lenzie U16 to Mains Park.

We know the intensity and work rate will need to be high against a strong Lenzie side, and the boys are ready to get stuck in.

It would be great to see as many parents and supporters there as possible to get behind the team.

Our P7 squad were back in action this morning, with their first game of the season across at Hamilton.

The boys put on a brilliant performance, coming away with the victory against a strong home team.

Well done lads!

Girls Rugby Tournament - Sunday 30th August

Today we welcomed Boroughmuir, Peebles, Currie, Penicuik, Berwick, Dunbar, Dalkeith and North Bewick along to play rugby today in our u14s girls tournament!

Massive congratulations to our first Linlithgow Girls squad playing today. They did brilliantly for their first time out.

Linlithgow U16 0-84 Howe of Fife U16

An incredibly tough morning against a very good Howe of Fife side. They played some excellent rugby and will be a tough team to beat this season.

The score doesn’t necessarily reflect the work the boys put in, but today showed us the levels and intensity needed to compete successfully at this level.

The focus now is on how we respond. Back at training on Tuesday as we build towards our first Cup game on Wednesday.

What a game for the U15s today 🔴⚫️

The boys put in an amazing performance away against Howe of Fife, coming away with a fantastic 28–73 victory! 💪👏

Brilliant rugby from start to finish, with great teamwork, determination and some fantastic tries along the way. A real team effort and a performance everyone should be proud of! 🙌

Huge credit to all the players for their hard work, and a big thank you to howerugby for a great game and for hosting us. 👏
