***Junior Cup Result***

Orchard Farm 3-4 Lisbellaw United (aet)
Noah Ewing ⚽️
Ben Parkinson ⚽️
Jay Taylor ⚽️
Micky Hopkins ⚽️🎯

A bit of a crazy game! 1-0 up thanks to a lovely goal from Noah Ewing and we had a fair few chances to go further ahead. However, Orchard Farm grew in to the game and two wonder goals flipped the game on its head to leave it 2-1 at half time.

Second half Orchard Farm went further ahead when they scored with a swift counter attack. Ben Parkinson reduced the deficit with a header, and then former Lisbellaw United player Alfie McCraffrey was sent off. We piled on the pressure but it wasn’t until very late when we equalised, a very controlled finish from Jay Taylor.

At the death Orchard Farm had a few chances of their own as the game was very much in the balance going in to extra time.

With an extra man we pushed and pushed but the hosts were defending for their lives. Up step Micky Hopkins. The ball rolled across to him at the edge of the box which he caught superbly well and the ball flew like an arrow straight to the top corner. Similarly to Raceview last year, Micky was the hero with a cracking finish!

A superb effort from Orchard Farm made it a classic cup game, we thank them for their hospitality after the game and wish them well for the rest of the season.

MOTM today was Paddy Beresford who put in an except shift over the course of 110 minutes!!

Absolutely brilliant support today, and we are still in the hat, thank you and we look forward to the next round!

***BKYL U12 Premiership***

Lisbellaw U12 1–4 Ballinamallard A

Goal: Charlie Veitch
POTM: Lee Anderson, Arthur Robinson.

A competitive game where the boys battled hard throughout. After going 1-0 down early, we fought our way back into the game, but two goals just before half time gave Ballinamallard a 3-0 lead.

The boys responded brilliantly after the break and started the second half brightly, with Charlie pulling one back after some great work and a clever dummy from Dylan. We continued to create chances, with George hitting the post in what could have made for an exciting final 10 minutes, but unfortunately it wasn’t to be.

A special mention to Caleb, who made some excellent saves to keep us in the game, and to Lee, who was outstanding today and fully deserved his POTM for his effort, bravery, tenacity and skill.

Congratulations to Arthur, George and Jack on their club debuts, and well done to all the boys for battling right to the final whistle.

Thanks as always for the fantastic support.

Best of luck to Ballinamallard A for the rest of the season. We go again! 💪

⚽ **U11A Match Report** 💙🤍

A quiet opening 15 minutes, with plenty of possession but not much to show for it.

The second 15 minutes burst into life with **goals between both sides**! 🔥 An excellent midfield trio of **Alex, Oliver & Ezra M** created plenty of chances, with **Charlie** finishing superbly to complete his **hat-trick!** ⚽⚽⚽

The final 15 minutes was frantic at times, but the boys battled hard. **Jay & George** worked tirelessly in midfield, while **Ezra M** capped off a brilliant shift with a superb goal. 🚀

**Alex** covered every blade of grass up front and came agonisingly close to scoring. **Ezra H & Hugh** battled hard at the back, with Hugh definitely bringing the derby-day attitude! 😂💪

**Ezra G** was in fantastic form, making some crucial saves when we needed him.

🏆 **MOM: Charlie** — hat-trick hero! ⚽⚽⚽🔥

⭐ **Special mention to Alex on his U11 debut!** 👏

Brilliant effort from all the boys. 💙🤍⚽
Best of luck to Skea for the rest of the Season
