My aim is to make men and women physically and mentally stronger through the power of exercise.

Your back’s not broken. Your set up is.

One version of an exercise causing discomfort does not automatically mean every version is unsuitable.

I might adjust the range of movement, change the implement, reduce the load or slow the exercise down.

Then I watch how the person responds.

That does not mean ignoring pain or pretending everything can be trained through. Sometimes the correct decision is to stop and have it properly assessed.

The value of coaching is knowing which decision to make, not forcing everyone through the same exercise.

Save this if you’ve written off a movement after trying only one version.

He never thought the squat press would ever feel comfortable.

Turns out it wasn’t the exercise. It was one tiny detail in the set up.

That’s what most of coaching actually involves, not big transformations, just small tweaks that add up over time.

Send this to someone who’s given up on an exercise that’s never felt right for them.

Stronger at 50 than you were at 40 isn’t luck.

It’s a decision you make today, not a hope you have later.

Time off doesn’t erase what you’ve built. It just means today’s the day you pick it back up.

Follow if you want to be stronger at 50 than you were at 40.

Most progress doesn’t look dramatic.

Better technique. More confidence. A little more weight. An extra rep. An exercise that finally feels right.

One of the clients in this reel is learning a completely new movement pattern — first few sessions with it, still building the feel for it. Another is working back from shoulder surgery, training within a range that isn’t what it used to be, and adding to it session by session. A third is pregnant, and we’ve adjusted her deadlift to suit where she’s at right now.

None of that looks impressive on camera. All of it is real progress.

That’s most of what coaching actually is. Meeting people where they are and helping them move forward from there.

A programme only works if it works for the person doing it.

Sometimes that means changing an exercise, adjusting the range, reducing the load, or simplifying the whole session.

That’s not failing the programme. That’s coaching.
The goal was never to make someone fit the plan. It’s building a plan that helps them get stronger.
