✉️ Enquires - [email protected] Now into its first full season of publication, A Life In Orange devotes its time finding the best stories from the marshalling world. It will also be seeking out the great characters of this hobby and bringing you their stories. Soon it will be running a section of the website which is all about "Your Track" and why every marshal should come and give it a visit. Most of them are volunteers who give up their weekends so then drivers and teams can go racing. The "Orange Family" as they are sometimes referred to are essential for all forms of Motorsport to exist. True heroes of the racetrack, you will always see a marshal laughing and smiling and you won't meet anyone more enthusiastic about racing.

We love these pictures from the European Le Mans Series 4 hours of Silverstone 🧡

They show the orchestrated work that goes into a live recovery.

When a car needs recovery, everyone needs to be aware of their surroundings and when a car and recovery truck start moving only those involved and have a defined role remain with the car.

As the car comes to rest on the tarmac apron the team rejoins them to help unhooked the car.
