A customer had contacted us with a fault on the vertical axis of Kearns borer, we visited the site and the old Anilam A10 scale assembly had stopped working, they went for the option of a replacement scale. We supplied and fitted one of our EMS GS120 optical scale assembly (industrial grade) with a signal adapter cable to work with a Anilam Wizard 411 display. All back up and running carrying on the production.

Repairs made on a 25 year old Hegner fret saw, the cam for the blade arm mechanism was not working correctly due to the motor shaft being severely damaged. The main motor was replaced along with a camera wheel and link. Refitted the machine back into the school D&T department fully functional ready to use.

Service, H&S of machinery in a D&T department of a high school 4 classrooms and a prep room with various types of machinery for woodworking and engineering. Just a few little repairs to sort on a couple of machines, sanding belts have been changed on the Bandfacers. L.E.V testing complete on the central extraction and some machines which have self contained extraction, all working as it should.

Service of machinery in a engineering workshop of a college. Optimum bench top milling machines, bench top lathes, horizontal Bandsaw, Harrison M300 centre lathes and knee mills.
Everything was in good order just 1 or 2 minor faults easily rectified.

Repaired a EL432 Ball-scale compatible DRO for a customer, this will be going back onto a DSG lathe. The display was serviced, repaired with the full set of keypads numerical and function keys, boxed up and sent back to the customer.

This will be fitted to a cross slide of a DSG lathe.

A customer had contacted us with a power feed issue, we had a visit to the site and they had a power feed unit they had in stock, we fitted and got them up and running again. The issue with the original feed unit was the brass gear and pinion gears were worn this was due to slight movement of the adaptor for the end of the leadscrew. All working as it should now.
