The adventures of 2 adults and 2 small dogs

The family has grown a little bit, we have spent a week getting used to the new family members 🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛. Welcome Will and Dom.

Mr H has gone off to work so it is just Mrs H and the boys this morning all snuggled together on this Saturday morning.

So yesterday we did a sponsored walk for Woodlands Hospice. It was great fun although it was cold and wet and the boys looked fan in their little bandanas.
This morning we have a couple of very tired boys.

Had the boys out for a nice Sunday morning walk.

It's a glorious looking day today so going to have a trip into keswick, haven't been there for year's and we want to go to Hope park a see Max's statue

Our first evening here for a few months, yes we have been before. Been to the pub, it's a holiday after all and now back in the tent making something to eat hoping the boys will settle.

We made it and missed the rain, all set up and a beer in hand.

Mere Sands Wood maybe not the nicest of days but we love coming here for a walk with the dogs and a coffee afterwards. Joanne Heap

Today's trip out was to Taylors Farm in Lathom, Lancashire who where having a open day.
They also have a fabulous farm shop.

Another walk around Mere Sands Wood finishing with a nice cup of tea and a walk around their artisan market

For those of you near you or planning on visiting Rufford in Lancashire this weekend.
Mere Sands Wood has an artisan market which looks good. Think we will go and have a look at it.

Poor Fudge, he is pooped after a long and tiring day.

Had a lovely day today starting with a short 1 mile walk I to Kirkby Stephen, a walk around the local shops, a coffee and of course an obligatory pint we headed off to Franks Bridges and a walk back along the River Eden, through Stenkrith Park and back to the camp site where yet another beer was waiting for me.
All in all a good day.

Tent is up and we're now sitting outside the pub having a drink and waiting for food.

First stop on our journey is Lancaster services give the boys a little leg stretch and me and Mrs. H a drink.

Got the trailer packed so we're almost ready for our 1st camping trip in 2 years.

I was planning in having a walk out with the boys this morning but we have a sick doggy on our hands.
Charlie isn't well and has been throwing up, currently he is lying in the couch with Mrs. H so don't think we will be going far today. Maybe a little stroll later if he perks up a bit.

Good morning everyone, today we have crossed the River Ribble and come to Lytham.
I was going to do a video but it is too windy so you will have to make do with photos.

It's an early start for us today, both boys are at the groomers starting at 0830.

For those of you who, like us, follow Max the Miracle Dog on face book it is with great sadness that we learned of his passing yesterday. His walks with brothers Paddy and Harry have been an immense pleasure for thousands of people and the amount of money raised for charities has been phenomenal.
Max Out in the Lake District if you haven't seen them doing what they do then give it a look one day. If youre feeling down they will cheer you up. Plus the live streams are a source of such pleasure if for no other reason than the amazing Lake District scenery.
We would like to pass on our best wishes to Kerry, Angela, Paddy and Harry and sincerely hope they continue doing what they do.
