Many people become complicit and are living unhappily because they do not prioritise their own goals. Change is easy if you commit yourself to it. You are not too far gone to start making adaptations to living a healthier lifestyle.

On the 10/12/19... I decided at the age of 51 to enroll myself in a Personal training Level 2 & Level 3 deploma. ππͺ
β’ Through my childhood iv always been athletic, swimming being my most competitive sport. πββοΈ
β’ From the age of 20, I lived abroadβ¦ my main focus was the gym (max squat 180kg) π along with work (air hostess) of course.
β’ At the age of 27 when I returned to the UK I was asked to represent a gym in Liverpool & compete in Miss North West.... I didn't have the confidence & I refused. Thats one on my regrets in life as you should embrace every moment. Funny thing is they said I would have won π€£πͺ
β’ Although now I work full time in school, I have a passion and commitment to physical exercise & mental wellbeing which goes hand in hand β π
β’ I'm so happy & grateful that today I got a time slot for my final practical Level 3 exam..... its been a waiting game with covid!

π MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS WEEK π
Tonightβs workout felt brilliant, for me working out is for much more than aesthetics, it makes me feel energised, invigorated and motivated. It is vital that you find time in the day for yourself & do what makes YOU happy ππΌ
Self care comes in all different shapes and sizes, personally due to my busy life ... I (like most) can become negligent with regards to my own workouts, leading to me feeling down and sluggish.
Prioritising yourself and ensuring you make time for your own well-being is NOT selfish ππΌππ»ββοΈπͺπΌ

βIβm working out but not seeing resultsβ .....βMy bum just isnβt growing, Iβm working out loads and not eating rubbishβ ..... βI havenβt lost any weight this week but I have been the gym every dayβ

These are some of the kind of comments which indicate that your consumption of calories is incorrect for your activity levels. Many people get a PT or go to the gym to do a workout but donβt actually set themselves a goal.

Understanding calories and setting goals work hand in hand.

If you do not correspond your calorie intake to what you burning off you may not see the results you desire - leading to you getting fed up and loosing motivation ππ»βΉοΈ
