Trevor was originally bred to race, however, he was not quick enough, so was not on the track. Trevor is not your typical TB he is very laid-back yet willing to work and learn, he is not sharp or nasty in anyway. He has such a lovely temperament and is very loving. He works well on the flat, he is new to jumping but currently jumping 65cm, he will hack out alone or with company, if alone he is just a little bit more aware of his surroundings, he has been on the road but is very new to them. Trevor will lunge however, it is not his favourite area of schooling as he prefers to be ridden. He is good to clip, good with the farrier, good to catch, and is fully up-to-date with worming, dentist & injections. Trevor will load however, he has only had to load two or three times within his life so he does get nervous but with patience he will load. In the stable, he is perfect, you can tack him up, muck out, groom no problem whatsoever. He has recently had the physio out (mainly for a massage), the physio was very impressed with how he had grown and developed. He currently has two front shoes on, not for any major reasons just down to the yard surface and hacking. Trevor ideally needs someone that is familiar with thoroughbreds, someone that is very sincere and kind, and someone that is willing to keep up his education and consistency.
Trevor currently has a lovely loaner 3 days a week and could possibly carry on loaning if he’s stays on the same yard or in a reasonable distance from where he is atm in bickerstaffe.
