Our Flames team were back on court tonight for their first game of the new league, taking on Ballers.

Not the result we wanted this time, with a 22โ€“15 loss, but plenty to build on as we get back into the swing of league netball. ๐Ÿ’ช

What a way to kick off the new league season! ๐Ÿ™Œ

Our Sparks took on Unity Sirens last night and came away with a 21โ€“20 win after a brilliant, hard-fought game. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ

And as if a first-game win wasnโ€™t enoughโ€ฆ how good do they look in the new kit?! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ”ฅ

Summer has been busy, holidays have been had, routines have gone out of the windowโ€ฆ but September is here and Monday nights are back! ๐Ÿโค๏ธโ€๐Ÿ”ฅ

If we havenโ€™t seen you much over the summer, consider this your invitation to get back into the training habit. No guilt, no explanations, just come along and get stuck in. ๐Ÿฅฐ

And with the leagues starting back this week, itโ€™s time to start rebuilding that match fitness, sharpening up those skills and getting used to playing together again. ๐Ÿ’ช

Whether youโ€™ve trained all summer or youโ€™re wondering when you last touched a netball, weโ€™re ready for you. ๐Ÿ˜‚

If you've been thinking about getting back into netball, trying something new, getting a bit more active or simply meeting some new people, this could be your sign.

Toxteth Flames is a friendly, mixed-ability women's netball club and all levels are welcome, whether you've played for years, haven't picked up a netball since school, or have never played before.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Bon Cafรฉ to watch Wales v Scotland and England v Australia. It was lovely to see players and supporters from across the local netball community together over coffee, cake and some brilliant netball.

A hard-fought match and a 14โ€“14 draw to start the season. Loads of determination across the court and plenty to build on going into the next few weeks.
Big shoutout to Hope, who picked up Player of the Match! A brilliant performance and well deserved recognition. ๐Ÿ’ซ
