Game Week 9 MVP’s 🏆

1st XI - produced a match winning spell of bowling including a double wicket maiden that saw the end of A. Riaz who’d scored 73 to get his side within just 7 runs of the required total!

2nd XI - & Oliver Wallis share the honours in the 2’s this week as they tore through the Aughton batting lineup bowling them out for just 35!

3rd XI - d.w.197 made significant contributions with both the bat and ball, first taking taking 2 important wickets as Sefton Park were all out for 142, and after slowing down the damage done by the opening bowlers Dom had a steady innings which got his team comfortably over the line!

Game week 8 MVP’s 🏆

A great weekend for the club, with all 3 sides picking up wins!

1st XI - Back to back for this time taking 6 wickets as his team bowled out Churchtown for 55, his last 5 wickets game without conceding a single run, unreal spell!

2nd XI - Also for the second week in a row, skipper led from the front, falling agonisingly short of another half century to a blinding catch from a ball that seemed destined for the boundary. A wicket and another catch was also contributed as his side enjoyed a comfortable afternoon.

3rd XI - With his side looking desperate at 4/3, young skipper arrived at the crease to join brother Dom, the pair put on 158 for the 5th wicket and with Dom departing for 72, Ollie went on to notch his first ever century in an innings that showed maturity beyond his years! Not content with that, he also picked up 2 wickets as the 3’s rounded off the weekend!
