The Spion Kop in its 1970s pomp. And... when it was virtually PURE SCOUSE!!! Yes... a smaller percentage came into the Kop after travelling from Ireland, Wales, Scotland or the South, but when they arrived they were made welcome and then duly sang their heads off like all us locals.

A Spion Kop that adored Kevin Keegan, Toshack, Clemence, Smith, Cormack etc etc. About to dominate Europe, the Kop at Anfield was unmatchable and was the absolute place to be every Saturday at 3 o'clock at Anfield. No messing with the kick-off times, and... NO messing with The mighty Kopites neither. UP THE REDS. ❤❤❤
