4+ (Frank V Harry Cup)- Qualified!🤩 Through to side by side racing, with Oxford University Women’s Boat Club taking the win in the round

8+ (Colgan Foundation Cup)- 19th in time trial

MET REGATTA RESULTS🗣️

Last weekend we headed back down to Eton Dorney where we had our training camp in April. Although both days of racing had some very tough competition, the hard work paid off for LUBC and we came out with some great results!

Saturday:
O4+ (Academic) 7th in D final
O4- (Academic) 7th in F final
O4x (Championship) 23rd in time trial -> C final
W8+ (A) (Academic) 7th in E final
W8+ (B) (Academic) 54th in time trial -> G final

Sunday:
O4+ (Academic)🥈in D final
O4- (Championship) 38th in time trial -> E final
W4+ (Academic)🥈 in B final
W4- (Academic)🥉in D final

Now we continue with the the training in the lead up to the big regattas including Henley qualifiers, as well as Chester regatta this weekend🔜

BUCS REGATTA WOMENS SQUAD HIGHLIGHTS🤩

The women’s squad also made history this weekend, with the novices in particular breaking club records💪

The WB8+ came 5th in the A final which is the first women’s 8+ to ever make an A final for the club!🗣️
The WB4x came 6th in the B final which is the highest placing novice women’s quad for LUBC🙌
The WB4+ came 2nd in the C final which is the best result since 2017!🥈
