2 weeks ago today i had a Meningoma removed
4 years after being diagnosed an a 10 hour operation, its finally gone. Reason they have only just removed it is because it literally couldnt of been any deeper in my skull, so its took a lot of planning
Im still hospital recovering. The last 2 weeks has been the hardest thing ive ever had to go through
From learning how to talk properly again, walk again, going deaf in one ear, double vision an not being able to swallow
Looks like im on the mend now and with time an a bit of work, these problems will be reversed
Road to recovery starts now๐ฆพ

A lot of people will start the year out with good intentions
But the reality is, most will fail
So what makes you different?
It might work out for you. An I genuinely hope it does!
But on the balance of probability, it wont
6 weeks from now, one of these two things will occur ๐๐ป
1 - Youโll think โI wish id just got started as soon as the year started, I cant be assed nowโ ๐ช
Or 2 - Youโve started, but youโve tried to go all out, to much to soon ๐ตโ๐ซ
Back to point 1 - Its never to late to get started, but the sooner you decide to make that postive change, the better
Point 2 - Maybe youโve decided to completely give up carbs and now youโve crashed?, maybe youโve missed a session or two now your asking yourself if its worth it? or maybe youโve ended up out on ale an you feel as though its set you back?

I enjoy working with Mark
He would ask a lot of good challenging questions
He was also good at consuming information which would help him along the way
Christmas & New year is around the corner. Im sure a lot of you will over induldge
Which is fine by the way, but dont then moan and complain when you add a pound or two
My point is this ๐๐ป
The sooner you decide to put a plan together and decide to change, the better prepared you will be for 2023 to get after it ๐

If you solely rely on motivation, then there is no chance you will achieve what you initially set out to achieve
Donโt get me wrong, motivation is important. Without it, we wouldnโt have that initial thought in our head of wanting to improve or achieve something. However this feeling can go out of your head as fast as it can come
If you have a new & fresh goal an youโre motivated to get it done then id suggest you write it down
You might wake up the next morning an all of sudden you canโt be assed. Now here is where discipline comes in๐๐ป
Doing the everyday tasks that we canโt be bothered doing, but doing it anyway because this is whats necessary to get from A to B
You might not be motivated to train, you canโt be bothered taking your dog out, you donโt want to prepare your food or you might not want to have another nutritious meal. These feelings are normal, but its important to understand the things you do on a daily basis should align with your goals
Whether you stay disciplined or not will determine your final outcome

Tranformation 2.0 for (12 weeks)
I hadnโt spoke to Tom for a couple of months an then back in March just out of the blue, he rang me. On that exact day, he wanted to get straight back in with me๐๐ช๐ป
We got going the same week. Tom was determined
Toms job is highly stressful, not to mention his 2am starts๐
So when it came to the weekend, Tom was always going to have a couple of drinks an enjoy his days off
Toms a perfect example of being able to enjoy the weekends an still get in shape
discipline was what got Tom here

Adam started with me literally 3 days before the gyms shut for a second time.
Despite all the uncertainty surrounding the gyms an also life in general given the circumstances, Adam decided to stay on it an not let nothing stop him.
Once youโve got your goal In your head, its important to become tunnel vision an not let small set backs determine your overall outcome
Things werenโt always perfect an its important to know that there will be off days. Just make sure you donโt completely fall off the wagon
In the meantime, Adams had to deal with
- Moving into a new home
- Gyms opening & closing
- Completely different & new job
- An of course a little something called Covid
He seen the bigger picture, he knew that if he chipped away day by day, the end outcome would be worth it
Theres a 23 pound weight difference in these pictures, but as you can see the change in body composition is brilliant
Be like Adam. Small changes make huge differences๐ง
