I have been working with babies, children and adults of all ages since 1989 and have private practices in Waterloo (north Liverpool) and Formby.

Nature has always carried remedies for repair.

Music is one of my loves—an ancient expression that has traversed millenia. And being that we are not only composed of biology, but of vibration, too, it is no surprise that sound holds great significance throughout human history.

Studies have shown that there are noticeable decreases in stress, heart rate, and blood pressure when music is tuned to 432 Hz rather than 440Hz, yet 440 has become our standard—and interestingly, there are correlations from a mathematical standpoint of 432 being a harmonic composition of nature.

One of nature’s many symphonies is that of bees—the matriarchal backbone of planetary health. We have come to fear this backbone as a species—its potency, its fire, its harmony and collectivism—yet the bees are one of nature’s many mirrors into our own return, into our own remembering.

The thrum of a bee’s wings is what produces the hum we hear—and this melodic concert is medicine. In a study published in March of this year, researchers observed the effects of bee hums on anxiety levels, revealing significant reductions of anxiety-states.

And for many years, there has been ongoing observation on the use of beekeeping and apitherapy for veterans and other individuals suffering from the effects of PTSD—with results showing decreased sadness, stress, anxiety, and loneliness after being exposed to and working with the bees.

We are beginning to trust nature again. To understand that even though her intensity determines our survival, she is also graceful in remedy and repair—a coherence of forces backed by the fabric of the universe itself.

Nature has embedded answers to much of our modern-day ailments and when humanity reconnects with the building block of our own existence, we heal not only the surface-wounds, but the deeply ingrained lesions that have kept us separate from the Earth’s wisdom—from ourselves.

This is our call to find nature again, even if our minds have not remembered.

We are currently paving a path that returns us to a knowing beyond words. One that establishes us into a reality where we are not merely walkers of this planet, but rather, are inherently destined to contribute to life on Earth as stewards.

An absolutely remarkable harmony that occurs between human medicine, nature’s intelligence, and cosmic wisdom.

To be stewards of life is written within the codes of our biology. A cellular story which unravels as nourishment grows from soil, as children emerge from wombs, as community is tenderly held by each act of selflessness, and as each individual shares their divinely gifted offering to this Earth—whether it be a roaring voice of change, an artistic expression of all that is sacred, or a silent kindness which touches each heart.

Yet the medical and agricultural industry are mirrors into where humanity has come to stand for survival when provided with a shaky, profit-driven foundation.

Farmers and healthcare providers, at the core, are driven by being planters, providers, protectors, and sustainers of life. Yet the models which govern the modernized industries do the opposite for economic satiation—a devastating dance with quicksand for both those on the giving and receiving end of the spectrum.

What if as a species, we have come to resist death so much that we have actually began to unconsciously feed its presence more?

Once I was immersed in the ceremony of death through many years in hospice care, an unimaginable gift began to reveal itself. In my fight against death, I had willed myself closer to it. Yet in the witnessing of those who departed, I was reminded of what it means to be a human steward.

It didn’t appear as I was brought up to believe, but it was a catalyst that transformed how I walked this Earth—and within each individual is the steward—resting underneath our current wounded state, waiting to be remembered.

Returning to the time I shared on the @nikkibostwick podcast in what feels like perfect timing. If you would like to experience the full conversation, comment ‘LIFE’
