Usually we're on the ground with these guys after months of planning the safety, licencing and production for .

Slightly different now but still great fun delivering to Sound City MD Rebecca Ayres and her brilliant team.

We spent time talking through the Covid-19 risk assessment and return to work plan with the team. Risk assessment is a journey everyone should be a part of, continually monitoring and reviewing the plans in place to make sure they work.

Thanks team!

Brilliant fun working with Josh Aitman, Co-founder of Melodic Distraction. It's a rare joy when a client puts so much heart in to their safety culture. For MD, we've completed a premises inspection, spent time chatting through the company's approach, developed their ongoing Covid Risk Assessment and reviewed existing policies/procedures.

Oh, and failed several times in the simple task of taking a screenshot... 🤓🎤🎧

In the past 24 hours, the UK government has signalled that mass gatherings will be postponed and cancelled. What is clear is that there will be an end to this, and during this time event planners will still be working remotely to plan and deliver their shows later in the year.

Over the past few days, we've consulted our friends and colleagues in the events industry about steps we should all take in the wake of COVID-19.

We've taken these conversations, guidance from various sources and experience to create something fun that we hope sparks ideas and solutions. Huge thanks to those that have contributed, and those of you that will contribute as we continue to update this live, working document.

Events people are grafters. Creative thinkers and solution-finders. Improvers and innovators. We are watching our industry, our freelancers, the people closest to us, struggle. If you are in a position to help others, even in the smallest of ways, please do. We're keeping a close eye on the potential small business and zero hours contractors subsidies and we will update the advice when we know more.

There will always be more that unites us than divides us. Please contribute to this live working document by sharing, commenting, DMing or emailing additions to [email protected].

Stay safe
