ACSIL (amputees and carers support in liverpool)

We are delighted to share that we have received National Lottery funding for our group, this will be used to keep our charity going for the next 3 years!!! and help us with development cost, planning and training, and also be used to plan activities, day trips, and social events for all our member's. Thankyou to the amazing generosity of the National Lottery funding board and a very big thankyou to all the members, from all at Acsil Liverpool.

Hi Everyone, Acsil Is Back.

On Thursday 6th June there will be Members monthly meeting held Acsil office on Queens road. All welcome to come along. Light lunch, fun free prize bingo and other activities all provided not to mention as much tea & coffee as you like, feel free to do the dishes ;) meeting to be held at 10am straight afterwards fun filled activities and lunch provided at no expense.

Yes it's that time again, monthly general meeting tomorrow, 3 positions have been applied for on the committee, concert secretary, recruitment officer and assistant chairperson, lots of news this month good and bad. Please find me a job that I will enjoy, that I am skilled or knowledgeable of, that will pay me a good wage for working 25 hours/week, that gives me complete flexibility from week to week, that will give me time to go to hospital appointments & operations, prosthetic appointments, physiotherapy appointments, psychological appointments, and GP appointments without losing pay for any of these, all of these appointments are annually unlimited too, also allow me to do this job on various medications, and give me time to recover from surgery(s), a job that I can do either from my wheelchair or wearing prostheses, a job that gives me satisfaction and a sense of worth.
