Today sees the Vanarama National League Premier Division Play Off Final Chesterfield v Notts County at Wembley Stadium for a place in League Two. We are immensely proud to have three Bootle Referees' Society officials appointed to the game. The game is broadcast live on BT Sport KO 3:30pm

Our Chairman has just competed in an Iron Man event in Turkey to raise funds for the Clatterbridge Cancer Charity. A disease that has touched, or will touch all of us at some time.

With the ongoing situation with COVID, the Bootle RA committee have decided to cancel tonight's meeting.

The next meeting will be on Thursday 3rd February.

It is with great sadness that we report the sad passing of one of our members, Eddie Hussin.

Eddie was a very popular presence in refereeing circles in Liverpool for many years. There are a lot of match officials who owe a great deal to Eddie for his words of wisdom. He leaves a void that will never be filled.

We send our deepest sympathies to his family, he will be forever in our thoughts.

Rest in peace Ed.
