Just had some sad news about my friend Billy Garnett Sensei passing.

I don’t know any more details yet, as it only happened this morning.

Anne Ashcroft Sensei just rang me to let me know.

My condolences to his family and friends at this difficult time.

🥋 Congratulations Richard, Ryan & Annabelle! 🥋

A big Budokan Ju-Jitsu Club congratulations to Richard, Ryan and Annabelle on earning your Brown Belt 3rd Kyu! 👏👏👏

You successfully completed your grading last Friday night, and tonight it was time to officially receive those brown belts. 🥋🎉

For our adult students, you know that a brown belt isn’t just handed out. It represents hard work, commitment, consistency and plenty of time on the tatami.

You’ve all put the work in, and this is a well-deserved step towards the higher grades. 💪

Congratulations to all three of you. Wear that brown belt with pride, keep training hard and enjoy the next part of the journey!

👏👏👏🥋🥋🥋👏👏👏

A huge congratulations to Shihan Paul Ellis on being awarded his 7th Dan in Ju‑Jitsu.
This is a massive achievement and shows the years of hard work, commitment and loyalty Paul has given to the art.

As my role as Chief Instructor of Budokan Ju‑Jitsu Club, I was proud to nominate Paul for his grade, and even prouder to see it awarded by Andy Morrell, President of Cobra Martial Arts Associations.

Paul truly lives for Ju‑Jitsu.
This grade is fully deserved.
Well done Paul.
