It’s infuriating watching how the Premier League applies its rules. 😤 When Everton breached PSR, the penalty landed straight away, leaving them to fight through an appeal just to claw points back. Yet with Manchester City facing 115 charges, everything gets dragged out through endless legal appeals before any sanction even touches them. ⚖️
Sure, Everton admitted to a single financial breach whereas City are contesting every line with an army of top-tier lawyers. 💼 But for those of us who missed out on league titles by a single point while these alleged breaches took place, the stark contrast in urgency feels completely wrong. Football rules should hold the exact same weight whether a club is fighting relegation or backed by unlimited wealth. 🔴
Does anyone genuinely believe the current FFP process treats every club fairly?
