Phew… that was a busy few weeks. It is great seeing all our new members, most people not even doing martial arts before!

Remember, if you haven’t already to buy your AU membership, these are available to purchase at the sports centre desk or online at sport Liverpool. This will cover entry into the sports centre for training along with free physio, insurance, etc.

Also we have a what’s app group! If you are not a part of it and would like to join please DM us so we can send you the link.

Hello all 👋

BIG reminder of the social tomorrow! We’ll be doing a pub crawl around some boss pubs around Liverpool (pubs and times will be up tomorrow) starting at the Sphinx at 7:30.

The theme is dress as your belt rank, so if you’re a blue stripe, dress in green and blue. White belt, dress in white. Etc. HOWEVER, if you’re a black belt I want you to represent your Dan rank in your outfit, this can be with a gold stripe, a big number on your top - just get creative with it.

You can also invite your mates out even if they don’t do TaeKwon - Do

Hope to see all yous there and hope we see a good few new face’s tomorrow. It’s gonna be a belter.

⚠️ Taster Sessions ⚠️

How are we people? Freshers week is finally over! It was great seeing you all at the freshers fair, we were able to give out hundreds of leaflets!

For the new people who are interested in starting taekwondo, we have taster sessions running over the next two weeks. These sessions are completely free and will be perfect for you all to trial taekwondo and see if you like it 🥋

These sessions take place in the sports centre, when you head into the gym, take a right and we’ll be through those doors at the end. If you get stuck please dm us or ask a staff member at the sports centre and we’ll be happy to help.

Hope to see you all there!

A big good luck to everyone taking their grading this coming Tuesday! We’ve seen how hard all of you have worked and are ready to see you all advance belt ranks. 🥋

Important things to remember before the grading!
- You must be wearing your dobok during the grading, particularly your GTF dobok if available.
- Bring water! Gradings are not easy so make sure you bring something to keep you cool and hydrated.
- Make sure you bring your grading fee, this will be £15 for people doing their colour belt grading and more for black belts (message Kostas if you have any questions). This is just to cover the cost of a new belt!

And that’s all! We look forward to seeing all of you on Tuesday ready to get your new belts.
