🔴 FULL-TIME: LIVERPOOL 2–3 MONACO

A disappointing result at Anfield, especially after going 2–0 up, but there were positives to take from the performance too.

The first half showed plenty of attacking promise, with Liverpool looking dangerous and creating chances. But the second half exposed some areas that still need work before the new season begins.

🔴 Defensive concentration — we switched off at important moments.

🔴 Midfield protection — Monaco found too much space when they broke forward.

🔴 Game management — when you’re 2–0 ahead, we need to be better at controlling the game.

🔴 Squad depth — with a long season ahead, quality options throughout the squad will be important.

Let’s remember this is pre-season, and Iraola is still putting his ideas across to the players. One friendly doesn’t define our season.

There were positives. There were concerns. Now it’s about learning from them.
