⚽️ Challenge Gala U8s ⚽️

So today our u8s travelled to bradford for the challenge gala 🏆

Every player did us proud as always but unfortunately we played against some really good strong teams and found ourselves going out of the gala in the group stages.

The improvement from the first group game to the last group game showed the fight this team have 💪

Many positives to take and also some big things we need to work on going forward in preparation for the new season.

⚽️ Liversedge Jrs U6’s ⚽️
Sunday 5th July, LJFC under 6’s made the short trip to Norristhorpe Juniors FC to take part in a 3v3 festival set up by the HJFL.

This was the second of this style event that the HJFL have organised!
Again big emphasis on learning the brand new 3v3 rules for the 2027/27 season

This group of kids really held their own against some good opposition, all turned up with brilliant spirit & enthusiasm, they all played some brilliant football, with many compliments from fellow coaches & parents.

This group of players do themselves proud every time they touch a football field.
Striding for improvement week in week out.

⚽️ Mount Pleasant U13 Yellows VS Liversedge Juniors U13 ⚽️

So today we travelled to Carters field in Batley to play a pre season friendly.

Was a very competitive fiery game from the very first whistle but our boys stuck to the game plan and battled for everything and also backed each other like a unit! 👍💪

Game management on point and the boys got the job done seeing out the game 6-1 and scoring some cracking goals including a 40 yarder from James 👏

Some fantastic football on show and also some things to keep working on but overall it was a good day for us!

We couldn’t be prouder of every single one of our amazing children. They were fantastic throughout the presentations, showing confidence, enthusiasm, and all the hard work they’ve put in. They truly did themselves, their families, and our club proud.

It was wonderful to see so many parents there to support the children, and hearing all of your lovely feedback means the world to us. Seeing everyone enjoying the day together is exactly what our club is all about.

A huge thank you to all of our families for your continued support. Days like today remind us why we do what we do, and we couldn’t be prouder of the incredible club we’ve built together.

Today we celebrate all the dads, stepdads, grandads, father figures and coaches who make grassroots football so special.
