After last week’s fantastic victory and a clean sheet, the boys are back in action this weekend as we head on the road for our first-round Scottish Cup tie.

The hard work continues, and the aim is simple — take the confidence from last week and carry that performance into another big game. 💪

We know it won’t be easy, but the lads are ready to work for each other, compete for every ball and give everything for the badge.

The boys have worked hard all week, and the aim today was clear — keep the goals against us down and work hard for each other.

They covered every blade of grass today and got their rewards with a fantastic team performance. Some brilliant team-worked goals were mixed with a couple of individually superb finishes.

3 points and a clean sheet — exactly what we were looking for! 🔥

Credit to Leith, they kept on fighting to the end and made it far from easy today!!

Massive credit to every player for the effort, attitude and teamwork shown today.

MURIESTON 4–5 EAST CALDER

A game of two halves tonight.......Again!

After a strong first half, the lads took a well-deserved lead and looked in control. Unfortunately, a common theme from recent games returned in the second half, as we struggled to get a foothold in the game.

East Calder capitalised on a couple of mistakes and turned the game around, with it looking like the game was dead and buried.

To the lads' credit, they showed great character and produced a late surge to make it a nervy finish, but unfortunately it wasn't enough.

Credit to East Calder for seeing the game out.

Plenty to learn from, but we dust ourselves off and go again. 💪

They say it’s a game of two halves, and today couldn’t have been more fitting!

The lads started off strong, commanding the ball and playing some fantastic football. Two brilliantly worked goals saw us take a deserved lead into half-time. 👏

We created plenty of chances in the second half too, with two efforts hitting the woodwork and a couple of great opportunities narrowly missed.

Currie pressed well and found pockets of space all over the park, and it wasn’t long before they managed to peg us back.

Plenty of positives to take from today, plenty to work on — but we dust ourselves off and go again!

🏁 Final Pre-Season Game

Our final game of pre-season took us away to Musselburgh Windsor Blues.

After a scrappy start, the lads struggled to keep possession and found it difficult to get the ball moving the way we wanted.

However, what they lacked in possession, they certainly made up for when it came to taking their chances, putting together some excellent attacking play and building a strong lead.

Credit to Musselburgh, who stuck to their game plan and continued to work hard, producing some really well-worked goals of their own.

Overall, another valuable run-out for the lads and plenty to take into the new season.

Next week, it all starts for real! 🔴⚽️
