We are running a last one standing competition to cover the expenses of our women’s team - including training and video analysis equipment.

The money raised will be split evenly between the women's team and the winner - so the more people that join the merrier. As it stands there is OVER £500 prize money up for grabs!! AND it is only £10 to participate!

Lana - a talented forward with energy to burn and an eye for goal brings finishing power to the front line.

Leah brings strength and steel to the back line, able to slot in anywhere - she is a brilliant addition to Murieston’s defence.

CUMBERNAULD COLTS 2-1 MURIESTON UTD

A tough result for the ladies yesterday as they narrowly lost out to a well set up Cumbernauld side.

The game was very even with both Cumbernauld and Murieston creating chances, the hosts were first to break the deadlock and went in at half time 1-0 up.

The second half was a battle for both teams. Murieston grabbed an equaliser when Katie McKinnon headered in from a corner and from there it looked like we would go on to win. Both teams created lots of chances but Cumbernauld got the winner.

An injury to WWyse EErica and no replacement goalkeeper meant Ellis Barton was forced into goal where she made no error and kept Cumbernauld out for the match to finish 2-1.

Another game where the girls have shown so much grit and determination.

We utilised our pathway due to numerous absences, the girls play for our U16s and showcased the talent we have at our disposal - well done to both!

Players Player- Emily Poskitt, her speed and skill were too much for the opponents as she caused problems all afternoon.

Coaches Player - The Full Team: the bravery, attitude, and heart & desire made the coaches very proud, we couldn’t ask for any more.
