HI- I have someone keen for mine leader Vertical Training, so require one more to run a course so be appreciated if you can spread the word.

Rope from cyffty tested I did a trip to cyffty with glynn & Joel back when we had cal access . We did change some ropes , 1 of them was in the ladder way climb into cyffty from parc 3 this is in very dirty water which I suspect is rather maybe “toxic ?” It was certainly Very old I have read a fair amount of trip...

RED ROUTES IN CWMORTHIN

To help clear up some confusion and maybe some of you do not know

Note- Your not approved to use them under the LCMLA award. In order to be approved for RED route use in Cwm you have to be a leader for GB, signed off by GB and working for GB on any red route. Whilst working for others your not approved under the scheme to use Red routes in CWM.

5th December looking for a person to be a body on a vertical leader core skills assessment and SRT for leader assessment. Great opp to see what its all about and pic up some tips.

News Update

8th October 2022 - NRW/WG have terminated the CAL licence

NRW have formally terminated the CAL agreement as of the 20th November 2022. Without the agreement there is no formal access to any of the CAL sites after this date.

CAL very much reget this has happened, the scheme has worked for almost 8 years without any issues and we think NRW are being very short-sighted. It is possible they may come up with a replacement scheme, however we have stated that this cannot involve any payment and it would have to be as easy to manage as the existing scheme
