Welcome 2024!

I don't know about you, but I'm raring to go. I've got an exciting mix of racing and adventure plans in my personal calendar this coming year.

I've also got some great events lined up for you lovely lot.

I'm planning on running a welsh3000s event - dates tbc.

I keep promising nav for runners courses - this year will be the year!

Many of my offerings are bespoke so if you've got any races coming up you want some coaching, guiding and recceing, want to fast pack a route in the UK or Europe - get in touch and I can configure something personal for you.

I've some 121 remote coaching slots available. I cover all levels of ability and distance. Whether you're just starting out, a seasoned runner or competing at a high level I can provide a personalised plan to work towards your goals.

It's a minefield finding a coach you can trust. Having competed in some of the toughest races in the world, including The Winter Spine Race (1st lady), Tor Des Geants, UTMR, Grand 2 Grand (1st lady), Ironman Switzerland, Isle of Jura Fell race and most recently a 1st AG on the UTS 50 and completing the PTL. I've fast packed the Haute Route, GR20, TMB, Alta Via 2 Dolomiti, Great Glen Way and more.

All these experiences mean I can offer real first hand experience and decades of knowledge as well as qualifications from UK Athletics and Mountain Training Association. Hopefully my extensive running CV speaks for itself.

A wet weekend here in Eryri!
Diego and I did a cani cross race (1st AG, 2nd F and 4th overall) on a longer race than he's strong for. He was a total hero 🥰
Then today we managed to dodge the rains with a glorious route in South Snowdonia on a route planned by our friend and local to the area Mat Fenwick / Ty'n Y Benrhos - Holiday home in Snowdonia he has a couple of fantastic rental properties and lots of local knowledge of this area.
South Snowdonia is actually my preferred place to run, it's rugged, quiet and wild.

After a glorious May and June, its been nothing but rain for months now.... that's how it feels. The log burner has been lit, mainly to dry out my shoes on rotation.
I'm starting to get some events set up but my main focus is my A race in a months time. The bad weather isn't helpful for motivation and some family issues at home this week (injured doggo) has meant I've not done what I'd planned.
Thay said I was probably the only person on Yr Wyddfa this evening battling the apocalyptic rain!
Bad weather is also a chance to do some kit checking, maintenance and of course purchasing!

I snapped up this superlightweight Petzl helmet from V12 Outdoor which I hope I can fit onto my running pack.

We have started to pull together some dates for adventure !
