4 Weeks today the annual pain and suffering that is the annual S7 Race will be underway!

Its that time when we as the organisers go into ground rush mode about the things we should have done but may have forgotten to do and we realise we have very little time left to do these things!!

Like always though we are confident that blind faith and sheer pigheadedness will see us through! 😂

Remember that entries close tomorrow night - 7th June - so if you haven't yet entered its now or never.

This years event is looming and we still have some places remaining. If you and / or you're team are dithering then its now or never to get your entries in for this year.

We will be closing the online entries on Sunday 7th June so we then have the final numbers for t shirts, trackers, catering etc etc

We wont be able to accept entries after that date.

Great news that we already have lots of teams signed up for our annual mountain based torture fest on the 4th July.

This afternoon members of our organising team joined North Wales Police Chief Constable Amanda Blakeman to say our final and fond farewells to our founder and mentor Cynan Davies.

It was an incredibly moving service with the S7 featuring a lot in various family eulogies.

We will be dedicating this years event to Cynan.

Reminder that online race entries are now open and remain the same £ as last year until the end of February.

We are incredibly saddened to have to inform you that our founder and mentor Cynan Davies passed away last night aged 87.

Cynan established the S7 in 1974 and is seen here, centre stage, at our 50th anniversary in 2024.

He was without doubt iconic, a true legend who will be sorely missed.

We will do our very best to keep his spirit alive.

Rest in peace Cynan your duty is done, you ae now able to roam those mountains whenever you want.

Well, in a break from our normal tradition entries for the 2026 race will open on the 1st January!

And, and as a gift from us to you, all entries made before the end of February will be at the 2025 price. (ahead of a sadly unavoidable price hike in March)
