Call Out 23/9/2020

Just after 3.30 yesterday afternoon the team were called by Heddlu Dyfed Powys Police to locate a male walker near Llyn y Fan Fach. The chap had started his walk using google maps on his phone from the Brynamman road and had underestimated the terrain and distances involved.
The team met with him and after checking him over walked him back to the car park at Llyn y Fan for his onward journey to his car.
We recommend that you use a map and compass when walking in the hills, technology is a great but shouldn't be used as primary tool for navigation.
