John Apps

Passed away peacefully on 22nd June 2026 at his home in Llangathen, with his loving partner Debbie by his side.

John, formerly of Tŷ Isaf, Trapp. Much loved dad of Daniel and David, proud Grandad Apps of Josh, Esme and Elliot, dear companion of Roxy the dog and will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

All are welcome to a service to celebrate John's life at St Cathen's Church, Llangathen, SA32 8QD on Saturday 18th July, 2026 at 2pm followed by an interment in the churchyard.

The family wish to give special thanks to the Oncology Unit at Morriston Hospital for their care and support.

I’m sad to report earlier this week my dear old Dad passed away after a short second battle with cancer.

Morning everyone, it’s a chilly one at the lake today it looked so lovely early this morning I had to take some photos to share! Looking forward to welcoming you all back in March.

Great News everyone! After some time away we now return focused and full of energy and would like to welcome you back to the campsite from March 2026 onwards.

Fishing continues to be open from 17th January, so please book your spot through our website www.trappfishery.co.uk

If you would like to book any of our camping pitches please do this through pitchup.com. We have electric, non electric and hard standings overlooking the lake all at very reasonable prices.

If you are looking for a comfortable stay in the cottage on the lake please visit vrbo or pitch up, which is bookable for short and longer term stays.

We have upgraded facilities like the shower and wash house to make your stay with us even more comfortable and we are currently working on the website to make it easier to book with us.
