Well, we got hold of two of our Champions from the weekend!

Congratulations to Lynda Worrall & Margaret Haydon, pictured receiving their medals from Ladies Captain Jane Hallows on winning the Wales Golf Team Handicap Championships held here at Maesdu on Sunday.

Also to Margaret Haydon specifically for winning the individual medal for best score on the day!

Congratulations to the team from Wenvoe Castle Golf Club who won the Wales Golf Mens Handicap Team Championships held here at Maesdu yesterday!

An extra special congratulations to our ladies team who won the Ladies Handicap Team Championships too! The team of Karen Pettigrew, Lynda Worrall, Quyen Nguyen & especially Margaret Haydon who won the Ladies Individual Medal too!

We'll be sure to get a team picture of the ladies up with their medals soon!

🌧️☀️💨🌈 Rain, sunshine, wind and even a rainbow — we had just about every season today for the Handicap Team Championships at Llandudno Golf Club (Maesdu) in Llandudno! ⛳

🏅 Welsh Men’s Handicap Team Championship

The men’s individual winner was Regan Rice from Tredegar Park with 42 points.

The team winners were Wenvoe Castle with 107 points.

🏅 Welsh Women’s Handicap Team Championship

The women’s individual winner was Margaret Haydon from Maesdu with 38 points.

The team winners were Maesdu with 102 points.

Congratulations to this team of legends who qualified for the finals day of the British Mixed Championships, reaching the final 4 of around 100 clubs from across Britain!

The team of (from l-r) Chris Davies, Robyn Denholm, Karen Pettigrew, Owain Golding, Janis Jones, Steve Pettigrew, Lynda Worrall, Brad Walker, Margaret Haydon and Bill Shallcross won 3.5-1.5 over Ryburn Golf Club at Catterick Golf Club over the weekend to win the North Section.

Other members who have played during the championship are:
Jane Hallows, Tristan Owen, Russ Garrigan, Sandra Helme & Jane Rimmington.

A great day for the first House of The Vivienne golf day at Maesdu. Here's 2/3 of the field from today who took part, and helped raise plenty of money for a great cause.

💚💚💚House Of The Vivienne💚💚💚

Tomorrow we are delighted to be hosting the first House of The Vivienne Golf Day, kindly sponsored by our friends at Castell Howell!

We have a full field of 22 teams taking part in a shotgun start at 11am, before a post-round meal, and prize presentation from 4pm onwards.

The organisers of the day, have secured some fantastic prizes, including - £10,000 for a Hole in One on a selected hole!

Very proud to support this local charity close to our members hearts, and can't wait to see the day grow and grow in the future!

It was a busy day of Matchplay at Maesdu yesterday as we hosted NWCGA vs The Army, and our mixed team faced Pleasington Golf Club in the British Mixed Championships.

The NWCGA side played foursomes in the morning, coming in with a 5-0 lead, before almost completeing a clean sweep in the afternoon, winning the singles 9-1, ultimately a 14-1 win on the day. Congratulations to Maesdu members Greg Hardwick and Yousuf Burney who were part of the Counties side!

Our mixed team, (pictured) also nearly completed a clean sweep winning 4.5-0.5 over the visiting side. They will now play Ryburn Golf Club in the regional finals!
