Very positive meeting with Tonia, MP for the Gower, Morlais Club and the BASC wales team yesterday
Thank you to the local BASC members for your kind hospitality in golf club this afternoon.
I really enjoyed the opportunity to hear and discuss our shared loves for nature and conservation.
It was fascinating to listen to members talking about the sights and sounds you won’t see from your armchair! Diolch!

The committee and new members had another work party at Pinged Ponds on Sunday, clearing willows from around the ponds to open the area up.
The ponds were well used by birds this last season, and we are working with NRW on a management plan for the SSSI to restore the areas taken over by willow and reeds to get them back to open wetlands.
Any members' that haven't completed their marsh visit log can attend a day in the summer organised by Neil Jones to get this completed.
Date is yet to be decided, the club will update these pages with a date, time and meeting place. Please contact Neil for any further information. Thanks.
