We get back to business with pre season training starting on the below date/time at the below location;

Date: Thursday 23rd of July
Time: 6PM - 7pm
Location: Llangennech Park, SA14 8UY

We look forward to seeing some familiar faces and welcoming some new players into this season's mix!

We are still accepting new players for this coming season so if you know any interested children going into Year 4 in September let us know. Accepting boys & girls from anywhere, any skill ability, with prior playing experience or no prior playing 💪

LLANGENNECH RFC UNDER 9s ARE RECRUITING!

Is your child due to go into year 4 this coming September? Looking to try a new sport? Develop valuable life skills? Make friends?

Llangennech RFC has a positive team culture which supports boys and girls of all skill levels and abilities.

Training is on Thursday evenings with games on a Sunday morning.

Training for the upcoming season starts in the end of July.

*TAG RUGBY COMES TO AN END! TACKLE HERE WE COME!*

What a lovely way to finish our season today performing well against tough competition in the Ammanford RFC - Clwb Rygbi Rhydaman Rugby festival! No easy games today that's for certain but we really fronted up and played solid attacking and defensive rugby!

Thank you to Ammanford for having us at a well organised festival and also a massive thank you to Ammanford, Vadre, Cefneithin Juniors Rugby and Skewen for the matches today! We look forward to more in the future.

Thank you to the parents, guardians, volunteers and sponsors who without their support and contribution this whole journey would not be possible.

To the players... It is a privilege to support you in your rugby journey and watch you develop your skills! As much as we are a rugby team we are equally as proud to see players come to us as shy, timid, unconfident and even scared little people to see them now developing into their true selves, making friendships, building confidence and being nothing but a delight to be around.

We can't speak highly enough of this team and are proud of the environment and culture we have.

We look forward to seeing you back for pre-season as we get stuck into our first season of tackle.

This past Sunday we welcomed Ammanford RFC - Clwb Rygbi Rhydaman U8s

Both sides fielded two teams allowing plenty of competitive rugby for all the players to be involved with plenty of game time!

Thank you to Ammanford for making the journey down!

It was great to see plenty of tries from the players today with a number of tag turn overs also! We are really pushing players to get excited in defense with us soon to be transitioning to tackling and this was great to see!

The days players of the matches were Emyr and Nicholas! Both showed great commitment in attack but we're solid defensively!

This Sunday we welcome Ammanford RFC - Clwb Rygbi Rhydaman U8s to Llangennech Park for a morning of tag rugby action!

As the season draws closer to the end we're hoping both teams can demonstrate how their skills have progressed this year!

Today we hosted the annual Llangennech RFC Mini's and Juniors Festival of rugby!

The morning started wet as the coaches arrived to law down cones, got wetter as players arrived and even wetter as players warmed up.

Then....all of a sudden the rain died off and the rugby began!

Today we fielded two teams and played five games each of rugby which was great to see. Some quality rugby in both defence and attack with tag turn overs and plenty of tries also.

An amazing morning enjoyed by all.

Thank you to all the organisers who worked tirelessly to put on events such as these, thank you to the guardians who supported the players and also gave a helping hand today, thank you to Llanelli Wanderers Mini/Juniors U8s & Adran Iau Nantgaredig Juniors Rfc U8s for attending, thank you to all spectators who kept it as a fun and enjoyable morning and thank you to the players who make us smile and beam with pride each time they lace up the boots and hit the field!
