Proud of our Machynys Juniors! ⛳️👏

A huge congratulations to Betsi Bowen, Nicholas Kuipers and Elis Gordge, who represented Machynys in today’s Dyfed Junior Championships here at Machynys! ⛳️

All three represented the club with pride and played some fantastic golf throughout the day. It’s brilliant to see our Machynys juniors competing in county events like these, gaining valuable experience and proudly representing their home club. 👏

🏆 A special congratulations to Elis Gordge, who produced two fantastic rounds of nett 71 & 68, finishing on an impressive -5 overall and securing 2nd place in the overall 36-hole Nett Championship!

As Open Week at Machynys comes to a close, i’d like to give a massive thanks to Kay, our Lady Captain, and to all the amazing ladies who generously gave up their time to run the raffle table.

After a fantastic win yesterday, our Welsh Men’s Team Championship journey came to an end this morning against a very strong Conwy side ⛳

While it wasn’t the result we were hoping for, we couldn’t be prouder of this team.

Reaching this stage of the competition is a brilliant achievement, but what makes us even prouder is the way the team have represented Machynys — not just this weekend, but consistently over the past few years in this event.

You’ve done yourselves and Machynys extremely proud. Well played, guys! 👏⛳

WELSH MEN’S TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS | GOOD LUCK, MACHYNYS! 🏆

A big weekend of golf lies ahead as Team Machynys heads to Wrexham Golf Club for the 2026 Welsh Men’s Team Championship Finals.

The action gets underway today, with some of the best club teams from across Wales competing for the national title over three days.

Tomorrow marks the launch of a brand-new event in the Machynys calendar… Purple Day 💜

We’ll be welcoming over 150 members for a fantastic day of golf, followed by great hospitality and live entertainment, all in aid of the Stroke Association – Our Club Captains chosen charity.

This is a day that holds a special place in the hearts of everyone at Machynys, and we’re proud to come together to raise vital funds and awareness for such an important cause.
