This weekend, our first team take a break from league action as we make the short trip to The Muga to take on Cefn Albion FC in the FAW Amateur Trophy.

The boys will be aiming to put in a strong performance and book their place in the next round.

FIRST TEAM MANAGEMENT TEAM CONFIRMED - better late than never...

We’re pleased to confirm Luke Maybury will continue as First Team Manager for the upcoming season, supported by Assistant Manager Ollie Bentley and First Team Coach Calum Davies.

This will be Luke’s sixth season in charge, having played a huge role in the club’s progress both on and off the pitch. We’re delighted to have him continuing at the helm. Luke is kindly sponsored by Riversdale House B&B

Ollie stepped up midway through last season after starting the campaign as Reserves Manager. His strong relationship with Luke and knowledge of the squad will be vital once again. Thank you to Brew N Bants for sponsoring Ollie for the season.

Calum joins us after most recently being part of Mold Football Club. Young, enthusiastic and highly motivated, Cal has settled into the group brilliantly and brings plenty of experience and energy to the setup. Cal will be sponsored by Llangollen Hostel for the season.

An entertaining game at the Recreation Field saw our first team come away with all three points in a thrilling 5–3 victory.

After going 1–0 down early on, the boys responded brilliantly to turn the game around and race into a 4–1 lead.

Llanrhaeadr fought back to make it 4–3, setting up a nervy finish, before Rob Cooper stepped up to seal the victory with our fifth of the afternoon.

A hard-fought three points and plenty of goals.
