The club would like to say a huge thank you to Lucy, who has volunteered her time to help train our now U7 football team. 🙌

Lucy is handing up her boots for now — a hard decision to make, and one we all hope isn’t forever! ❤️

It’s fair to say the children are going to miss you, Lucy! You’ve given your time, energy and encouragement to help them grow, learn and most importantly, enjoy their football. ⚽️

It’s people like you who help make football happen in our little town, and for that, we are forever grateful.

Forty today — now that’s quite a score,
But Andy’s still running around like he’s twenty-four! 😂
With his physio skills, he’s always on hand,
Keeping our players fit, upright and grand! 💪

Vice Chairman of the club, a role he takes with pride,
Always there to help, with the club by his side.
From muddy boots to matchday cheer,
Andy’s been a massive help year after year. 👏

But there’s one thing we all know is true,
There’s only one team that Andy will stay loyal to…
Aston Villa is the team in his heart, 💜
Though supporting them at times takes a brave little start! 😂

So raise a glass and give three cheers,
For Andy Pellow and his forty years! 🥳
A physio, a chairman, a Villa fan too,
The club wouldn’t quite be the same without you!

⚽️ Great to see our U12 & U13 teams dust off their boots and get warmed up for the season ahead with a friendly game over the weekend!

And, of course, the weather delivered the rain 🌧️ — but that certainly didn’t stop them! They got stuck in, worked hard and enjoyed every minute on the pitch.

Well done to everyone who took part — great effort from all the players! 👏⚽️

A full day packed with sport, fun and activities — a day they won through the club after their coach entered the team into a competition with Activ8Kids. Winning 3rd prize 2 members of the team won a full day with them! These two were then pulled ‘out of the hat’ to go! What a brilliant prize! 🙌

It’s moments like this that remind us that football can open doors and create opportunities that go far beyond football itself. It can lead to new experiences, friendships, confidence and memories that last a lifetime. 💙

Although this picture doesn’t quite reflect just how tired they were after such a busy day 😂 — they were very much enjoying a well-deserved ice cream! 🍦
