There's a funeral tea in the clubhouse this afternoon (Tuesday July 4th). Please be respectful entering, using and leaving the gym.

Also a reminder that we've had to increase our fees to £22.50 per month so please make sure your payments reflect this change.

Our personal trainer is taking a step back so we're looking for another qualified PT that might want to use the gym as a base. If you know anyone that might be interested, get them to drop us a line.

Just a reminder that it's Kingsfest in the rugby club this weekend so there won't be any access to the gym on Friday / Saturday / Sunday evening from 6pm.
It'll make a nice change for us to be complaining about the noise coming from below rather than the other way round.

Further to the car park update, we've now been told by the rugby club that pedestrian access to the gym is only allowed via the Gro to the back door of the rugby club. Members are not allowed to use the walkway between the rugby club and the flats next door. If you want to access the gym door from Smithfield Street you will need to walk around and enter from the Gro.

I honestly have no idea what will happen if you decide to risk it and walk through the gap. In my mind it will be some sort of Indiana Jones death trap with shooting arrows, lava and being chased by a big round rock.

Anyway be careful out there people.

If you feel the need to deadlift, please use the new drop mats. It might help stop the light fittings falling out of the ceiling below.

We've been informed that the car park behind the rugby club is for residents of the flats only. Going forward could members please park in the Gro or on Smithfield Street when using the gym. Cheers.
