Our Under 18's are back for another season and they kick off their league campaign with an away trip to Canton. Its a 2:30pm kick off at the 3G by Canton RFC and the boys will be hoping to start their season with a bang. Good luck boys...

League rugby is back at The Rec!

Tomorrow our 1st XV kick off the 2026–27 season as we welcome Dinas Powys for the opening league fixture. There’s real excitement around the club, with a youthful Blood and Blacks line-up ready to get things started in style. Five debutants are set to feature, including Joey Taylor, who becomes the fourth member of the Taylor family to represent the 1st XV as he makes his senior debut. We’re also delighted to welcome Sam Godfrey and Sam Harry back to the club, both having come through our junior ranks. Get down to The Rec, bring the noise, and cheer on the next generation of Blood and Blacks as the new league campaign begins!

Kick-off is 2:30pm and the club will open from 12.

The Blood and Blacks are BACK! 🏉🔥 This Saturday marks the start of a brand-new league campaign for both our 1st XV and Under 18s — and excitement is building across the club.

Our 1st XV begin their East Central Division 3 campaign at home against Vale rivals Dinas Powys, with plenty of new faces joining the squad and a big season ahead. Let’s turn The Rec into a fortress from day one! 💪

Meanwhile, our Under 18s are back for a second consecutive season and travel to Canton as they look to build on last year’s positives, welcome a few new additions of their own, and make a strong start in Cardiff South Division 3. With every match set to matter, both teams will need your support from the very first whistle. Get behind the boys this Saturday — new season, new challenges, same Blood and Blacks pride! ❤️🖤

To our incredible staff, volunteers, music acts, vendors and stall holders — thank you. Despite the tricky weather conditions, you all worked so hard, kept smiling, and helped create a fun, welcoming and memorable day for everyone who came along.
Events like this simply wouldn’t happen without the time, effort and dedication of so many amazing people. We’re truly grateful for every single person who played a part.

Our seniors are in action this Saturday with a pre-season fixture against Senghenydd. The match will be kicking off at 2:30 and it'll be a great opportunity to see how our senior squad is shaping up for the season ahead. We look forward to seeing a good crowd down at The Rec this Saturday.
