Tomorrow a new era of Loftus footballers play up at the Club for the first time in well over a decade.

They kick off at 10am against Prissick Rovers and would love to see people up watching and supporting the new team and kids.

We'd also like to thank the following businesses for sponsoring the kids for this season. Its massively appreciated and goes a long way to help with costs throughout the season.

Its the final game of cricket as we head to Kildale to finish off the 2026 season. We are still looking for one more to complete the team, so if you have a Saturday free and fancy a game to help let us know.

The football team have their first home game of the season with a league fixture against Thornaby Nash FC Saturdays. Hoping to build on last week's 4-1 win. Kick off is at 2 o clock, food is provided after the game by The Loftus Club.

Roundup of the weekends sports results.

The cricket team rounded off their home fixtures with a tense win in the last over against Ingleby Barwick. A nicely paced 65 from Arif made sure we took it to the last few overs. A brilliant all round performance by Jamie with 5 wickets in the first innings followed up with 29 not out saw us home with 2 balls to spare.

Thd football team are up and running with a win after 3 defeats. They beat York based Rufforth reserves in the North Riding cup 4-1 at New Marske with goals from Marcus Earl, Brogan Russell and 2 from Lewis Henderson.

They have their first home match this Saturday up at the CC against Thornaby Nash.

Its our final home league cricket match of the season tomorrow as we host Ingleby Barwick up at the CC. We start at 1pm.

The football team were drawn at home but due to the last cricket game they are playing their first round north riding cup match against Rufforth from York at New Marske. They kick off at 2pm.

We're open in the bar as usual at 1pm, showing Soccer Saturday as well as the 5.30pm between Hull and Villa.

We also have a 40th birthday tomorrow night so we expect the bar and lounge to be busy from 7pm. 🎊

As the 2026 cricket season draws to a close, we have the details of our presentation night at the CC.

Friday the 2nd October with the Brilliant Gaz Scott singing during the night too from 7pm onwards.

You can listen to Gaz belting out an array of songs from different genres. He might just sing a request from you too. 😀

We'd love to see you there and make it a fantastic night. 🏏
