Novak Djokovic ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡ธ had another incredible run at Wimbledon ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง, seeking an 8th crown to tie Roger Federer๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ญon the all time record and complete the calendar Grand Slam with already two under his belt, his hunger was beyond measurable, but sometimes it isnโ€™t enough to achieve the goals he dreams of, or at least not for now as a new rival has arrived to make his career a bit lot interesting.

His path trough the draw was just flawless, losing only two sets on his way to the final, without any real danger for his experience on the surface. The final match was just a delight to watch as an espectador, a rollercoaster fight against Carlos Alcarรกz ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ธ where he couldnโ€™t find the right points in the final set to taste the glory. Nothing changed for him in terms of ranking, keeping the second spot in both the world rankings and the ATP Finas race.

Marketa Vondrousova ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฟ defied all odds coming into the third Grand Slam of the season, despite her previous success as a Roland Garros ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท runner-up four years ago and as an Olympic silver medalist, her ranking and results have been affected by numerous injuries, even at this time last season, she missed Wimbledon ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง due to a wrist surgery, where she had to wear a cast, which she changed now for a Grand Slam crown.

Her path to the title was almost straight forward, losing only two sets, with her toughest match coming on the quarter-finals where she came back from a 1-4 deficit against Jessica Pegula ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ, from that moment, she turned on the beast mode and defeated Elina Svitolina ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ with dominance and ultimately Ons Jabeur ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ณ having to come back from early breaks in both sets to secure a straight sets victory.

She is now a member of one of the most exclusive clubs in the world, becoming a Grand Slam champion with a whole career ahead of her if her body allows her to keep dreaming for bigger things. She will now break into the Top 10 for the first time in her career as the 10th ranked player in the world and also rising 23 spots in the WTA Finals race to hold now the 5th position, in great contention for a debut at the event.

Ons Jabeur ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ณ had a tough first half of the season, where the victories where hard to find and the injuries where a recurrent part of her daily basis, but the grass courts at Wimbledon ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง gave her the inspiration she needed to put those months behind.

Her path to the final was an incredible one, scoring some of the toughest victories of her career, taking down 4 Grand Slam champions in a row, even avenging her loss to Elena Rybakina ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ฟ and the reigning Australian Open ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ champion, Aryna Sabalenka to reach her third Grand Slam final of the last five she has played.

Despite the level she brought these two weeks, her mind betrayed her where she needed the most, taking an early break in both sets, she was unable to find consistency and eventually losing control of the match, finishing as the runner-up. Despite the loss she added an important amount of ranking points, holding her position as the 6th player in the world and also replicating this spot in the WTA Finals race, breaking into the Top 8.
