A journey started in 2007, but completed in 2024 😳 😂 Yesterday I officially graduated with a BA Hons Open Degree from the Open University 🎉🍾

A day spent in London in matching outfits- and with celebratory cinnamon buns. 😋

Covering subjects including Humanities, Creative Writing, Design, Marketing, Leadership and Customer Profiling, my OU journey is one that proved that it’s never too late to achieve- and learn- something, and that by challenging yourself you never know what opportunities you’ll uncover. For me, it uncovered a unknown love of screenwriting 🎬

Now the big question to ponder is whether to do my Masters or not. 🤔

My first ever piece of shell art and launch of a mini project! Field and Stone has transformed into an project celebrating and showcasing beautiful shells found on our coastline 🐚

Pants make suitable headwear. 😆

Tea. The working day drink of choice. Mint tea freshly picked from the garden is my favourite. Simply pick a (very) big handful, wash, and cover in boiling water. I like mine with a little bit of honey for added sweetness. 🐝 Takes me back to when I first tasted ‘proper’ mint tea on the foothills of the Atlas Mountain range in Morocco.

Under the stairs is where the magic lives. ✨

You know summer is here when you start working outside. ☀️😎

Working on work-stuff today for The Brand Artisan. Out in the woods today, with my trusty mug and pen, penning pages for my new website. Sometimes you must do things differently, to feel different and when it comes to writing my own content and copy, shaking off the cobwebs and getting back in the flow is always renewed by the trees and the luscious greenery. 🌳

Working on a new project today, a children’s book featuring an orange-tinged creature who devours socks. Ah ha, so that’s where all the missing socks go! 😂

It is Autumn, Winter or Spring? 🤔 The arrival of this little crocus has me a little confused as to what season we're in.. 😂

Stories are all around us, from pillboxes to pebbles, seashells to sand, every object, every grain of sand, carries a story that is waiting to be told. I wonder what this beach would say? 🤔 📚
