Or connecting with someone in a way that allows them to trust you with their health and actually let their guard down enough to make the positive change they’re capable of
I know my answer 👌
Hearing feedback like this is far more meaningful to me than seeing the end result

Kallos Kai Sthenos
Started when I was finishing my photography degree
For those who don’t know I’m also a photographer with a degree 🎓
My final project “Kallos Kai Sthenos” looked at the physiques of athletes and those who train and how, regardless of the fact they all train…
They all look different !
Their bodies are a reflection of their goals and habits and tell the stories of their lives to date
The words ‘Beauty and Strength’ come from a Socrates quote that I found immensely powerful both at the beginning of my fitness journey and at the peak of my bulk - a time at which I had lost all sense of beauty in myself
The combination of my desire to see the Beauty and strength I was capable of, and my photography work developing around the same time/ idea…
It clicked for me that this was something I was passionate about !
In today’s society, the hardest thing to be is yourself, authentic and live with autonomy rather than following the crowd
Helping people to take charge of their life, physique and mind lit a fire within me and set me on the path I’m now on !

“The best food you’ve ever made!”
This week I treated .haslett to a 3 course dinner
🍤Tempura Prawn Tacos
🥩Steak and chips
🍬Macaroons and eclairs
It was insane, if a may say so myself 👀
But the prawns were the stand out dish of the night
“This is the best food you’ve ever made”
Some compliment !
Notice how she didn’t say…
‘That’s the most calorie efficient and macro nutrient dense food you’ve ever made !”
That’s because nothing was tracked !
No one has ever sad ‘I Love You’ with calories and macros
It is, of course, important to know what you’re eating…
I cooked with fresh ingredients from scratch…
But when it comes to date night (or social settings)
Eat for PLEASURE ❤️
Eat for FLAVOUR 🤤
Eat for ENJOYMENT 👌
It’s healthier doing that once in a while than it is obsessing over every last calorie
Go and enjoy your food tonight 💪

7 weeks of growth…

(Author of the brilliant book ‘Mindset’)

Chances are it does !
Either you recognise it in yourself…
Either partially or fully…
Or you know someone who fits the bill
That’s completely normal by the way ❗️
Dr Dweck goes on to say that no individual possesses solely the fixed or growth mindset
So if you feel uncomfortable with the fact this definitely resonates with you…
Don’t !
There’s always ways to tip the balance in favour of the growth mindset

If you’re able to do this,

🚀Find solutions to problems you face
🚀Stop blaming other people or things for you being where you are
By accepting responsibility you’re actually on the road to adopting the Growth mindset 🔥
Without accountability…
🤡You’ll blame xyz
🤡Find excuses
🤡Never take the action required to make the progress you say you want

Quotes from your fixed mindset inner monologue
It makes excuses for why you aren’t where you want to be
It tells you someone you admire is where they are because they’re more fortunate than you
Or because of X,Y,Z
When it simply isn’t the case
I’m not saying genetics aren’t a factor
I’m saying it’s not the be all and end all
I’m also telling you that you don’t have to think these thoughts
You can make a 180 shift in your mindset
