It’s been a clock tick (💚💖) or two…
…since I’ve posted on the main grid.
Over the last couple of years I’ve been up and down with health problems but in that time I’ve also been doing a lot of my own healing and INNER work and there’s always more to go.
So hoping to be back on here a bit more and working on some different ideas that will be coming 🔜
Same same but different was a phrase that I heard while backpacking around SE Asia and it sums up where I am at the moment - somethings will be the same in my content and some different - just as I’m the same but continuing to grow and evolve.
Midlife is THE wake-up call 📞 - a time for awakening (that something has changed within me feeling) and getting to know yourself.
Healing and really prioritising yourself (as you also navigate hormonal changes / reverse puberty and leave limits and people-pleasing behind) so we can go into this next phase as the version of us we were always meant to be 🫶🏼
Feeling enough 🫶🏼
Following your passions and purpose 🫶🏼
More thriving and less surviving 🫶🏼
Not caring what people think 🫶🏼
Regulated and feeling safe 🫶🏼
And then of course a bit of rising and defying gravity because it’s too late to go back to sleep my darlings - who’s in? 🫶🏼🙌🏼

48 years around the Sun ☀️
The last couple have a ride 🎢 but grateful for better health and still always healing, growing, learning and becoming 🙏
The most important thing - the real work - is this relationship we have with ourselves and cultivating this belief that…
Even when I’m not perfect enough
Even when things are challenging
Even when I procrastinate
Even when I fall
Even when I fail
Even when I make mistakes
Even when I’m too much or too sensitive
Even when I’m comparing myself
Even when life gets hard
Even when I don’t eat well
Even when I don’t exercise
Even when I’m not consistent
Even when I doubt myself
Even when I’m not productive
Even without health
Even then…the real work is believing that I am, and always have been and always will be, just enough 🫶🏼

Happy IWD to all of you incredible, brave, strong, amazing women out there🫶🏼
I’ve not been on here for a while as I’ve been struggling with my health.
It just made me realise how real the pain gender gap is, I honestly had to become the hysterical women I had studied many moons ago in psychology, to just be taken seriously.
I finally got a diagnosis with a genetic condition last year and now I’m mostly piecing the puzzle together but at least it’s making a bit more sense. It shouldn’t have to be a fight.
So in honour of accelerating action for others, please advocate for yourself, stand up for yourself, you know your body better than anyone.
Let’s say no ✋🏼to medical gaslighting
Let’s say no ✋🏼to one size fits all
Let’s say yes 🫶🏼 to please study our bodies and connect the dots - we make up 50% of the population.
Let’s say yes 🫶🏼 to more empowered women standing up for other women, sharing out stories.
At some seasons of your life you need more scaffolding around you just to hold you up.
It’s a sisterhood
We heal together 🫶🏼
We grow together 🫶🏼
We rise together 💫

I felt really lost at midlife but it wasn’t a crisis 👇🏼
It was time to get to know myself fully
To be myself fully
To try new things
To stop getting in my own way
To care for myself
To prioritise my needs and create positive habits
To follow my dreams and work on my career goals
To feel more joy, purpose and passions
To know my worth
To love myself first
To take up space in the world
To be more present
To be more me 🙋🏽♀️
The societal conditioning and expectations around good girls, good women, good mums, good wives is keeping us playing small, doubting ourselves, hiding in shadows and masking our authenticity.
It’s time to stop hiding what makes us You-nique, it’s time to change the narrative, it’s time for a plot twist. Its time to listen to the whispers of your soul that’s your subconscious, your intuition showing you the way 🫶🏼
Because the authentic version of you has all the confidence, success and resilience you need to thrive. She has all the answers you are looking for 👀

So many women feel lost…👇🏼
Lost in their identities, in how they are showing up in the world, unsure of what they are capable of.
You can lose yourself and who you are outside of being a parent
You can get lost in your career or your business
You can get lost in your relationships and the busyness of life with a heavy mental load.
You can, and particularly, at midlife get so depleted of energy and motivation.
Lose the courage, confidence and conviction in yourself to create the success you want, to try new things.
There’s anger, frustration and it never feels like the right time to make a change when everything is so busy, so many balls in the air.
Let’s face it there’s never a perfect time, something is always around the corner, ‘life is pretty life-ing’
Your time is now, you can be happier now, you can be the better version of you now. You can reconnect to you now. You can step into your most authentic you now.
It’s time to change the story - rewrite the narrative, its time to shift your state and energy, it’s time to get unstuck my darling.
Come home to your worth and your values 🫶🏼

Movement a different perspective 👇🏼🫶🏼
Movement in our lives is so important, physical movement releases feel good endorphins in our body, we feel better and has been the theme of this years mental health awareness week, we were not designed to be sedentary…
But we also need movement in our lives that gives us new direction, meaning and ✨purpose✨
Life is busy and we can feel stuck and stagnate in a rinse and repeat cycle and ignore the call to move and well it’s easier not to…
But movement can also look like the inner work, getting really clear on who you are and what you want to create a new path to your goals, dreams, desires.
Movement in our lives can mean connecting to your values, creating new thoughts and beliefs to take new action that will move you forward to where we want to be.
Movement can be away from the patterns and behaviour that’s preventing the change in your life you desire. Movement in our identities and who we are ✨being✨taking up more space in the world
Movement in our wellbeing - creating new positive habits, including moving our bodies in a way we enjoy and everyday self-care to manage stress, increase energy and vitality. Filling our cups ☕️
Movement in our relationships - starting with the one with ourselves - a sense of ✨self✨which creates a ripple effect on every other relationship 🫶🏼
Movement in our work so we are progressing, creating our version of success and balance ⚖️
Movement creates direction ➡️ and getting more out of life, a life that’s lights you up, it is the switch to creating a new reality with more joy, purpose and ✨abundance✨

It’s the most worthy work so a reminder you are more than a to-do list, more than any achievements, more than success by societal standards, your needs matter, you matter and you are worthy just for being you and that’s enough, you are enough, you were always enough and will always be enough 🫶🏼

From Wintering to Spring…🌿
Hey 👋🏼 my lovelies felt like it was time to get back on the grid.
I’ve had a long break after experiencing health problems, literally one thing after the other with underlying chronic health as well as riding the perimenopausal rollercoaster, unlike a normal rollercoaster 🎢 you can’t get to the front and then change your mind 😂
If you’ve read the book Wintering then you’ll know what I’m talking about 🫶🏼 (definitely read if you haven’t)
I’ve been spending a lot of time in my heated blanket something I can definitely recommend investing in for Wintering as well as cold showers 🚿 yes really and always looking for the glimmers ✨ the small things are always still there, from pink skies, to parakeets swooping passed the window, to special looks when they turn around to look back at you on the school run 🥰 especially the teenager.
Whilst I’m still figuring out lots of things I’ve been creating a new vision for my work and feeling like Spring is a good time to get back to it. I love Spring taking a vitamin D pill does not have the same effect as getting out in the light ✨ and feeling more ready to bloom 🌸 like the blossom that’s making an appearance hopefully the weather here in the UK will catch up soon 🤞🏼
I’ve realised one thing that health is the absolute wealth and that’s what I’m focused on moving forward, even in this funny midlife time that can drag you back into survival mode, I know I’m not alone, we all go through these different seasons in different ways, so just wanted to remind you of that too. Here with you 🫶🏼

But seriously we give our power away when we stop being who we are to please others.
You are not too much
You are not too sensitive
You are not broken
You are not lost.
You don’t need to be perfect to be loved.
You are worthy of care and rest.
You are worthy just for being.
You are worthy of it all and more.
You’re desires are signposts.
Your purpose is to live a rich and fulfilling life, to follow your dreams, to be more of who you are, of who you were born to be. 🤩
Your beauty deserves to be seen in its full glory.
As parents we have a responsibility to model this for our children, they can’t learn what they are not shown. We can step out of our own shadows and find our light so they are safe to do the same.
Self acceptance is truly the greatest gift you can give yourself 🦋
Self compassion is the best tonic for your soul. ✨
Self love is the most magical pill you can swallow my darling. 🫶🏼
When you come home to your innate worth and stop letting people bring you down. You rise up to your full potential and it’s a happier place to be. An authentic safe place.
