Howdy to all the Gradmed Gang,
I hope you’re keeping well. I attended your GradMed GAMSAT prep course leading up to the last exam and just wanted to send a quick note to say thanks again. I fought the urge to get in contact before the results came out.
It feels both necessary and redundant to send this email as I'm confident that all of your inboxes are flooded with them. I wanted to say that you all and your platform were a better help than I could have imagined for the exam. It has to be reiterated nonetheless.
There is an air of uncertainty when sitting this for the first time, not exactly knowing the battle that was to come. As the nature of the questions are in a state of flux, it's hard to be sure you're doing correct preparation by yourself.
On the day, I was surprised with how comfortable I was, oxymoronic as that may sound. While the questions were mostly new, they were of the same mould as those found on the Dashboard. I treated it as just another day of doing a question set. What we had been doing all summer. And it was hard not to feel a little bit optimistic immediately afterwards when the exam flows like that.
As for the scores,
S1 - 62
S2 - 67
S3 - 78
With a 71 overall. Safe to say I'm somewhat satisfied, if a little unsure about what medical school to attend.
If you are keen I'd love to send another email to each of you with the specifics of what I can recall for each of your sections. As you may have already heard, many of your predictions came up across the board.
I've recommended the Gradmed course to a good friend who will sit it in March. Would be happy to do a follow-up call with you all too.
Thanks for everything,
Jonny S
