Arteta On grinding out results: "I think it depends on the game and the way the opposition wants to play. Today was a different one to Lille, and will be extremely different to three daysā time against Bayern Munich, which will be 96 minutes man-to-man, and letās go. But we adapt, learn, and try to make the margins bigger."
Arteta On winning away at Aston Villa, Sunderland and Nottingham Forest having failed to do so last season: "It shows how difficult becoming a champion is and to expect a different kind of a game. Itās not the reality of the league, and certainly we donāt think that way. The level has gone up again, and I think we will have more and more surprises."
Arteta On Madueke as a player and person: "Noni puts a smile on my face, because heās a special character. Very much loved in and around the dressing room. The way he connects, talks to people, heās just a special guy. I think I saw an interview where they were asking a few of our players āwho would you call if you had a problem?ā and some of them said Noni."
"I was surprised by that! But thatās a massive credit and shows the exact sort of person he is. After the break, heās shown something else - another level of anger and conviction in his actions, and heās becoming now decisive in matches which is what we expect from our players."
On his role as a left winger: 'Heās a player where it doesnāt really matter if heās on the left or right. He has had a lot more minutes on the right side, but at the moment, the team needs him [on the left] and he has done very well."
Arteta On Konsa and Gabrielās defensive displays: "The win was not possible without them, because they have so much quality and physicality, having to constantly deal with what we predicted to be 50 balls in the air. I donāt know how many they had, but it wouldāve been very close to that. And itās not only that, itās what happens after that ball and the consequences from that. To be on it constantly, every action delivered is very tough."
