Even on international duty, the Arsenal way shines through.

Riccardo Calafiori may not have played a minute for Italy against Turkey in the Nations League, but he still found a way to make a young fan’s night unforgettable.

After the final whistle in Bursa, the Arsenal defender walked over, removed his Azzurri jersey, and handed it to an excited young lad in the stands. The pure joy on the boy’s face said everything.

This is what representing Arsenal means. Not just the performances in red and white, but the class, kindness, and connection that our players show wherever they are in the world.

Calafiori carried the values of this club onto the international stage and left a lifelong memory with a child who will never forget the moment an Arsenal player made him feel special.

Proud of you, Riccardo. This is the Arsenal way. ❤️

🇸🇪 ❤️ Viktor Gyökeres got the love he deserves. After a tough few weeks, the Sweden fans and his teammates gave him a proper reception — chanting

“Gyökeres, Viktor Gyökeres” and showing real appreciation. You can see how much it meant to him.

That’s the kind of character and connection we want in an Arsenal shirt. He’s one of ours, and he’s been waiting patiently for his chance.

With Kai Havertz picking up an injury on international duty, the door is opening. When Viktor returns to the Emirates, expect him to be sharp, hungry, and ready to take the opportunity with both hands.

Goals, work rate, and that relentless presence up front — exactly what we need.

Come on, Viktor. The Arsenal support is right behind you.

Double blow at the international break 🤕

Ode and Kai Havertz has been crucial to our incredible start to the season with both producing 7 goals so far with a community shield win. We might be forced to play a couple of games without our best players, which Declan Rice also being a doubt.

The duration of their injuries is yet unknown, but if we are going to line up without Odegaard, Kai and Rice for a few games do you think we'll keep up our good form? 🤔

Martin Odegaard limped from the field yesterday against Portugal after Bernado Silva's malicious tackle 😬

It doesn't belong on a football field," he said. "It's a shame that people do that." - Odegaard told the Norwegian media outlet after the game.

No news yet on the how severe the injury could be. We hope it's not a serious one 🙏

Kai Injury 🤕 Update

The good news is that everyone (Ornstein included) is saying it doesn’t look serious. Germany called it a “muscle strain” and Klopp even said he hopes he’ll be back relatively quickly.

We’ve got ages until the next game (Leeds at home on 10 October), so there’s a proper recovery window.

If it’s only a minor strain he might even be okay for that one. Just waiting on Arsenal’s own assessment now.

Fingers crossed it’s nothing major and he’s back soon.

We need him fit 🙏

Just wanted to shout out our boy Myles Lewis-Skelly after last night.

On his actual 20th birthday he got his first England start in central midfield… against the world champions. At Wembley. Proper big one.

Yeah, England lost 3-2 and the midfield took a bit of time to get going against Spain’s movement, but Skelly settled in nicely. He was brave on the ball, dropped in when needed, and that moment where he just shrugged Rodri off and drove into the box was class. Nearly created one for Saka too after the break.

Not the finished article yet, but for a 20-year-old making his first start in that position against that Spain side? Really solid. Replaced after 70 minutes with a decent rating.

Proper proud of him. Academy kid representing England and still so young. Let’s hope Arteta keeps trusting him more at the Emirates because the talent is clearly there.

What did you lot make of his performance? Thought he did well or still needs more time?
